Being a phlebotomist is a rewarding career. Phlebotomists are actually skillful clinical staff that work with patients devoid of the worries associated with being a medical doctor or registered nurse. Phlebotomists take blood for evaluation, the results of which physicians use as an important diagnostic tool. Just like most health care employees, getting started as a phlebotomist usually requires a good education. Learning to be a phlebotomist requires studying and knowing human anatomy and physiology, blood taking techniques, safety protocols, first aid and CPR.Getting to be a phlebotomist begins with high school.
